Dr. Gregory A. Cook D.D.S
After growing up in then rural Brecksville, Ohio, I graduated from Albion College in 1969 with a BA in Physics. I married my lifelong friend, Marianne, upon graduation. After attending the University of Cincinnati in Design, Art and Architecture, I spent five years as a city planning consultant and systems analyst. When our first daughter was born, I felt the need for a career change. I had a wonderful dentist at the time and Dentistry was a good fit for my abilities in both science and art. I attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1979. After 20 years of private practice in Mayfield Heights, I reinvented my practice by moving to Beachwood and, along with my entire staff, completed a year externship and surgical training at the Midwest Implant Institute (MII) in Columbus. Having published in the Journal of Implantology and having completed numerous implant cases, I was recognized as a Fellow at MII in 2009. That year we purchased CEREC, a Cad Cam porcelain milling system and completed training to begin providing single appointment crowns and onlays for our patients. Every year I become more enthusiastic about my profession and our practice which I named Beachwood
Contemporary Dentistry for obvious reasons. My wife, Marianne, a former OB nurse, keeps busy as a school nurse in the CHUH schools. We are avid golfers, gardeners and walkers, and enjoy travelling and visiting our daughter and grandsons in Boulder and our other daughter in Seattle. Loretta Gillan
I graduated from Brush HS and later married and raised three children while working as a legal secretary. I joined Dr. Cook’s practice as a chairside assistant in 1997 and later became his office manager. I am very active in my church as a teacher and numerous other roles including a cast member of our annual production of “The Gospel According to Scrooge,” which entertains the less fortunate at several shelters in Cleveland every Christmas. I have been fortunate to be a part of life changing missions at an orphanage in Moldova, near the Ukraine over the last few years. I enjoy country living in Newbury with my husband, Paul and my two sons. My daughter’s marriage has blessed us with two grandchildren whom have been a source of great joy for us.

A native of Solon, Ohio, I graduated from high school in 2000. After high school, I knew that I wanted to go into the medical field and Dental Hygiene was very appealing. I graduated from Cuyahoga Community College in 2004 with an Associate degree in Dental Hygiene. I continued my studies to complete a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Capella University. I have the best job and the most wonderful patients. I started as a patient of Dr. Cook’s before becoming his full time hygienist in 2004. I strive to make my patients’ dental experiences positive, painless and educational. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and my two spoiled Dobermans, Cade and Scarlett. I am expecting my first child in late June this year.

After high school in Willoughby, I attended and graduated from Cleveland School of Dental and Medical Assisting. I joined Dr. Cook at his Hillcrest office in 1991 as his dental assistant. My son, Rob, was born soon after and my family moved to our home with 23 acres in Trumbull Township. I followed Dr. Cook to Beachwood, despite the lengthy commute and have been with him over 20 years. I enjoy the special training I’ve received in implant surgery and CEREC technology. I keep current with continuing education to remain a CDA (Certified Dental Assistant). I’ve gotten to know and shared many a laugh with our many loyal patients. My husband, Bob and I enjoy our country home and our hobbies of motor cycles and “muscle cars.”
